BREAKING NEWS: May Producer Prices Top Expectations

The Labor Department reports prices at the wholesale level rose 0.4% in May, topping the estimate for a rise of 0.3%. Prices excluding the volatile food and energy components rose 0.3%. The expectation was for an increase of 0.1%.
